New Member States Join European Network of Quitlines at London Conference
The European Network of Quitlines (ENQ) welcomed on board new members from the accession countries at their London Conference on 16th July 2004.
The old 15 member network will be expanded to 25 as the new members states set up Quitlines in their own countries.
This is good news for European smokers who want to quit as they can now access evidence based smoking cessation services from their arm-chair.
The 2 day Conference also heard from the North American (USA and Canada) Network on the developments and good practice in smoking cessation and tobacco control in that region.
